In a few hours you will have a chance to listen to those Republicans running for office in Jackson County.
The Jackson County Republican Club, Jackson County Republican Women and the Jackson County Republican Party Executive Committee will host a Republican Candidate Forum at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College – Gautier Campus, Wednesday June 10 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. The event will take place in the Student Center Cafeteria.
All Republican Candidates for Jackson County offices have been invited to participate. These offices include: Board of Supervisors, Sheriff, School Board Superintendent, Constables, Circuit Clerk, Tax Assessor, Chancery Clerk, Tax Collector, County Prosecuting Attorney, and Justice Court Judges.
Each participating candidate will be given an opportunity to address the audience. Time permitting, questions submitted in advance by members of the Jackson County Republican Club and Jackson County Republican Women will be posed to candidates. Following the Forum, questions from the public may be asked one-on-one to individual candidates.
